LEON THE PROFESSIONAL - 30TH ANNIVERSARY

If You Want The Job Done Right, Hire a Professional

12-year-old Mathilda is reluctantly taken in by Léon, a professional assassin, after her family is murdered. An unusual relationship forms as she becomes his protégée and learns the assassin’s trade.

A stylistically innovative action thriller which shows Besson at his schizophrenic best. His first film shot in America, The Professional physically unites Besson with the national cinema which has most influenced his narrative and style.
