A teenager, who was constantly bullied in school for being overweight, is now thin following a freak accident. She turns to beauty pageants as a way to exact her revenge, with the help of a disgraced, dissatisfied civil lawyer-turned-beauty pageant coach who soon realises he's in over his head.
